HYDROELECTRIC

MORE THAN JUST A SERVICE COMPANY

Since its establishment ER3i has been developing automation and remote management solutions for the hydroelectric field.

Key figures
:

> 150 automated plants

> 75 ExH computer remote management systems

> 69 turbines renovated or manufactured

> 16 Hydrodynamic screws installed

Power of installations completed:

> Cumulative total: 38 MW

> Average power: 550 kW

> Smaller: 25 kW

> Bigger: 5000 kW

Drawing upon its many years of experience, ER3i offers services which extend far beyond simply supplying hydroelectric equipment. We support our customers in their decision-making processes and with the construction of their solution, but also throughout the entire service life of their equipment.

For ER3i, it is essential to reconcile sustainable development and technology by proposing solutions which:

> Make sense: proposing installations tailored to the individual case, both in terms of the technological aspects and their perfect integration into the existing setup, but also through technico-economic sizing – and all this whether the installation is 25 kW or 5000 kW.

> Are imaginative, yet practical and operational.

> Are efficient: our products are recognised for their performance, reliability and long life expectancy.

> Are reliable: we are a solid partner which provides all result guarantees to our customers. Our team is motivated, trained and draws on the rich experience of its advisors for the Electric, IT and Mechanical aspects.

Our accomplishments :

  • The Jouy aux Arches plant: replacement of the GUI, monitoring PC, maintenance tablet, excitation cabinets, control/command assembly; synchro-coupling used to transform ‘Russian-style’ coupling.

  • The Saint Hippolyte plant (Doubs): adding to the same water intake without modifying the infrastructure, a 3.9 m3/s Kaplan group and its peripherals which can increase the operating range of this installation over this watercourse with a very variable flowrate.

  • The SIEL turbine in Labergement Ste Marie (Doubs): design and implementation of a Kaplan turbine which combines an innovative mechanism with a cutting-edge electrical part.

  • The Saint Pourçain sur Sioule plant (Allier): design and production of the fine pitch grille, optimisation of the screen rake, modification of the water inlets of the Francis turbines to improve their performance, and installation of an additional 120 kW Archimedes screw turbine which will allow the out-migration of fish and increase electricity generation. All LV and High Voltage A electrical installations have been replaced.
